Children of Light Educare marked its 8th birthday on October 2nd with a sacred Yagna Fire Ceremony, led by the revered Swami Vidyananda. This momentous occasion celebrated the educare’s milestone, recognizing its commitment to fostering young minds and its continued growth.
Swami Vidyananda states: “The Yagna fire ceremony is an ancient Vedic ceremony in which the Divine is worshipped through kindling a fire and offering prayers. Just as fire transforms the substances offered into it, so does the Divine transform the seeker who offers themselves to the Divine. COLT believes that spiritual transformation is the essential foundation of education, and hence the Yagna is an ideal ceremony that symbolises that transformation of the children, the staff, the parents and all who are associated with COLT”
As the flames danced and the mantra’s resonated, the ceremony invoked divine blessings for the educare’s continued strength. Swami Vidyananda’s presence and guidance infused the occasion with spiritual significance, showering the children, staff and the community with peace, prosperity and harmony.
The Yagna ceremony honored the educare’s commitment to providing quality education and care, fostering a supportive environment for children to thrive. This milestone celebration reinforced the educare’s mission, inspiring all involved to continue striving for excellence. May the blessings of the Fire Ceremony continue to illuminate Children of Light Educare’s path, guiding it torward greater heights and a brighter future for all.
