COLT Aftercare Project Campaign

Extending contact time with our children will reduce the time that they spend roaming the streets in their communities. Each year our organisation supports a number of COLT graduates who need assistance with uniforms, stationery, non-attendance and parental co-operation read here. COLT teachers who are currently working with our past learners and their parents have observed that our children are struggling with literacy and numeracy at primary school. Our children also require a safe space to do their homework. The Educare has been a safe and loving environment for these children before and so, an Aftercare project has been initiated. The COLT Aftercare project will commence in February with 6 children, 3 days per week. Children will receive assistance with their homework, be introduced to life skills activities and enjoy healthy meals.

We require your help to raise funds to cover the stipend for the teacher and class assistant who will run the Aftercare project. Kindly contact Principal Mala on 084 9194864 for more information about the project and funding.
