Children of Light recently joined the LKRS early childhood development sports day at Chucker Road sports field in Kenwyn, which was a resounding success, filled with laughter, excitement, and a sense of community. The sun shone brightly as our learners enthusiastically participated in various fun activities. Despite their backgrounds, our young learners showed remarkable spirit and determination. It was heartwarming to see them cheering each other on celebrating their successes. Some even surprised everyone by crossing the finishing line first in their respective races! Even more exciting was our teachers participating in the races alongside their young learners, showcasing their playful side and creating unforgettable moments.
This event was more than just a sports day – it was a celebration of childhood, friendship, and the joy of being active. It served as a poignant reminder that life can be beautiful, especially when we focus on the simple pleasures like having fun with others.
