School vegetable garden

Our school vegetable garden is thriving and we were all thrilled to harvest our very first beetroot! Juliet cooked the freshly pulled beetroot and leaves for our lunch. The school rain tank and the ‘worm tea’ from our worm farm are keeping the plants healthy and fed. The children really enjoy spending time in the garden, watching how the plants grow, produce flowers and supply us with healthy food . Having the rain tank also allows them the opportunity to explore water play activities.
